Tan BC is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing together Tanzanians and those of Tanzanian heritage living in British Columbia, Canada. Founded on the principle that we are "Stronger Together," our community serves as a bridge connecting cultural heritage with new beginnings in Canada. Our journey began when a small group of Tanzanian expatriates recognized the need for a supportive network that could preserve our rich cultural traditions while helping community members thrive in their new home. Today, we've grown into a vibrant organization that celebrates our shared heritage while building meaningful connections throughout British Columbia.
